Praise of Prayer News
- New Hindi and English Hymnal for RPCI got published during the recent Presbytery meeting, on that same day (13 November 2010) four of RTI trainees were taken Under-Care as a first step towards ordination.
- On the Reformation Day Celebration Rev. Hiwale and Rev. Steve Poelman did speak about reformation and flashed presentation on Historical Reasons & John Calvin's Life respectively in MPM's mission field in Herbertpur.
- MPM was chosen among many other organization to facilitate rebuilding of few broken walls of the houses of some poor flood victims in Uttarpradesh. This was honor to us and we were appreciated for the best working style and transparency in functioning by the cluster advisors of all NGOs in our area. All the NOG leaders are getting together in Dehradun Area on December 2-4, 2010 to discuss how to help disable people and Rev. Anup Arun Hiwale will be the speaking on the topic of "A Theology of Disability" to this special group of people.
- RPCI approves the New Form of Government, there are few difficulties in the articles on Call to Ministry upon Ordination, Rev. Hiwale did object it and finally had to vote against the motion though he was the only negative vote. Later some leaders justified the need to do so and explained how we nee d to use the prudence.
- We bought anti-venom medicine for Orissa Churches, Rev. Hiwale spoke with Medicine company about our need and they gave us 57% discount on 50 doses… we are thankful to the Lord. Thank God for the timely donation towards it. Buying medicine was much cheaper than transporting it to the parts of Orissa.
- One of the pastors Rakesh Kumar starts mobile-shops for kids readymade garments to support his family and ministry. We would appreciate some one time gift for his family and a small business that he is running to take care of the family and ministry. Rakesh takes care of three fellowships which will soon be taken under a new umbrella called ERC. You can write to Rakesh and Renu on the following address: (Pastor Rakesh & Renu, C/o Mr. Daniel Masih. VPO Bhurewala, Tal. Naraingarh District Ambala State Haryana. His Cell Number is: 0091-905-018-8277, you can email his email ID is Both their kids are doing good. They as a family are very thankful to many of your for regular support that had been given to them in the past. To get MPM planted churches organized as Evangelical Reformed Churches we need prayerful guidance so that we can without breaking relationship with RPCI may be able to incorporate the Three Forms and Unity into the church education and life and have a biblical church government and pattern of worship. While doing this may hurt Rev. Hiwale a bit but pray that this be the effort of preserving the doctrinal value of the church and making peace among many who are indifferent in their understanding about reformed faith in India.
- MPM has started RTI type of courses in prison with the help of CBI USA, we are having plans to approach northern jails for these courses. We have taken responsibility of CBI's Regional Distribution Center. After our work in District prison in Dehradun, two prisoners namely Mr. Jackson-"Chuckwsu Angel Gariby from Nigeria and Mr. Devendra Singh from Herbertpur have been released from the jail. Both have committed their lives to the Lord giving testimony that it was very appealing and did gave hope to them when Rev. Hiwale shared gospel mentioning forgiveness that is found in Christ Jesus while talking with the prisoners. Please pray that we find great number of Christians to pray for the prisoners and their families that they have left behind. It's a great work that needs huge counseling. Promi has take challenge to take care of the counseling area of our mission work.
- Counseling Center in India is another need that we have felt in the church-planting field, please pray that the Lord leads Promi and her group of women friends to give all needed motherly counseling to the ladies that are hurting in our mission fields. We are hoping this year to have a separate office for MPM and offer a corner for this work there. We are also hoping to receive Miss Ritu Gospel back to India from USA as she is taking missionary training in the USA where last summer Rev. Hiwale was a guest teacher who gave lectures on 'Missions & Enthis." Ritu is a young girl from Haryana State and a PTS graduate. If anyone of you would like to contact her and invite her for some fellowship or to know her more please contact her at her email: ritu.gospel@yahoo.com.
